Welcome to BudgetZen ("App"). By downloading, accessing, or using BudgetZen, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The App is part of the DayOneApps family ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Nature of the App (Offline Functionality)

BudgetZen is designed to operate completely offline.

  • Data Storage: All data entered into the App is stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, sync, or store your personal financial data on external servers.
  • Data Responsibility: You are solely responsible for backing up your data. We cannot retrieve or restore data if your device is lost, damaged, or if the App is uninstalled.

3. Purchase and Payment

  • Cost: BudgetZen is available for a one-time purchase price of $9.99 USD (or the equivalent in your local currency).
  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed through the app store from which you downloaded the App (Google Play Store or Apple App Store). We do not directly collect or store your credit card or payment information.

4. Refund Policy

Because BudgetZen is a paid application distributed through third-party stores, all refund requests are subject to the specific policies of those platforms:

  • Google Play Store: Refunds are processed according to the Google Play Refund Policy.
  • Apple App Store: Refunds are processed according to Apple's Request a Refund procedures. We do not have the ability to process refunds directly.

5. Intellectual Property

The BudgetZen App, including all design, text, graphics, and code, is the property of DayOneApps and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DayOneApps and the BudgetZen team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or device malfunction.
